Poet’s Walk Leesburg, a dedicated Memory Care community, is proud to celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.
Held with the Validation Training Institute, the observance highlights compassion, connection, and person-centered dementia care. Its theme, “Meet Me Where I Am,” encourages caregivers and families to listen, understand, and validate each person’s feelings and experiences.
Throughout the week, Poet’s Walk Leesburg will host activities that honor residents’ life stories and educate families and community members about Validation.
Validation supports Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy by helping caregivers create trust, comfort, and meaningful relationships.
